Psalm 23 (KJV)

The Lord, the Psalmist's Shepherd (A Psalm of David)

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, through I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Beloved,

Jesus is so wonderful. He cares about every part of you and me. Even in the lowest valleys, highest mountain tops, and the in betweens Jesus is with us and will never forsake us. We all will walk though a valley of the Shadow of Death. The Shadow will try to scare and intimidate you, but, we know and believe he is defeated by the finished work of Jesus. Our wonderful Savior came to give us life and a life more abundant here on Earth free from the law of sin and death. We have no need to fear or worry for Jesus is with us and will comfort us. When the enemy tries to surround you, our King Jesus will prepare a table for you (party of two) in front of them all. Jesus anoints our head with oil and with his love, blessing, and mercy we lack nothing. In Psalm 23, we are given a promise, "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life." We receive so much through the finished work of Jesus. The promise of Heaven and the blessings in Heaven is ours to claim here on Earth. In Jesus we will dwell in His house forever. The old is washed away and behold the New. Jesus is our living water. He refreshes and restores our soul. It is such a blessing to know our steps are ordered, directed, and lead on the path of righteousness for His name sake. As we dwell with Jesus we are so close to our Abba Father. In Jesus we are seated next to Abba in the heavenly places. Let us say continually, "Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant." When we confess to Jesus we trust him, it doesn't mean immediately our circumstance will change but trusting him shows Abba & Jesus we will act on His word instead of dwelling on the obstacles in front of us. It is our choice to enter into His rest and peace by the still waters knowing He will provide.

I pray that you will experience the full and wonderful presence of our Shepherd, Lord, and King who can always make a way when there seems to be no way! In Jesus Name Amen!
