Shine Brightly for Christ

God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him.

Beloved,

As you draw near and seek the Lord, He is so near to you. In everyday life, circumstances can happen the way we don’t want them to happen. But even in the difficulty we can shift our focus. When we focus on Abba and Jesus, we are renewing our mind. Some battles we face we are not required to fight. A change occurs when we choose to let Abba and Jesus fight for us. Some of these battles can be big or small but when we choose to rely on His grace and mercy it delights Him. When people treat us badly or talk about us we should rise above it and realize we are seated in heavenly places. We are in Jesus seated with Him high above everything. Just that simple shift in our mindset and how we view situations can allow us to live and rest in His peace. Jesus peace is a peace that passes all understanding. Before Jesus laid down his life He promised us in John 14:27, “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” As we continue to renew our mind in His word this will become easier and easier.

There will always be something or someone who will try to steal your peace. Many have said life is 10% what happens to you and 90% of how you choose to react to it. Let us choose to be more like Jesus everyday. Let us choose to not pay back evil with evil. Let us choose to stand firm in our faith as children of the Most High God. Meditate in Psalm 91 in the translation of your choosing. Let this seed of Psalm 91:1-4 sink into your heart today, “When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm.” Every trap the enemy sets against you he will fall in himself. You just have to be still and know that our God is God. You are under His wings, He goes before you, behind you, beside you, all around you, within you, and He is with you. Trust and believe He will revitalize you. He will help you fulfill the awesome and wonderful future He has for you. Be encouraged today with 1 John 5:4,” You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world.” Let the Holy Spirit continue to guide you to all truth and be the constant reminder of who and whose you are.

I pray that your eyes are open to see the God who is with you and will protect you. I pray that you will be still and let the Lord fight your battles. You are not seeking for victory but already in the place of victory. In Jesus Name. Amen!
