Jeremiah 15:16 (YLT98)

God's Word in Your Heart

Thy words have been found, and I eat them, And Thy word is to me for a joy, And for the rejoicing of my heart, For Thy name is called on me, O Jehovah, God of Hosts.

Beloved,

Do you know Abba and Jesus words are alive and active today? We receive the Word through reading the bible, prayer, sermons, and worship. As we feed on Abba and Jesus words, seeds are planted inside our hearts that will produce a harvest. In Luke 17:5-6, the apostles asked Jesus to add faith to them and Jesus said, “If ye had faith as a grain of mustard, ye would have said to this sycamine, Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea, and it would have obeyed you.” In the Bible we are reminded of the love Abba and Jesus want to bestow upon us. In addition, we are also reminded of who we are, whose we are, and the authority given to us. As we believe Abba and Jesus are who they said they are, we are strengthened and freed from the lies and deceit from the enemy who is a defeated foe.

After the baptism of Jesus our Abba Father announced, “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.” At this time Jesus did not produce any sign, miracle, or wonder but our Abba reaffirmed His love, and reminded Jesus who He is to Him. As Jesus went into the desert to be tested by the enemy, Jesus said, “It hath been written, Not upon bread alone doth man live, but upon every word coming forth from the mouth of God.” There is no insignificant details in the Bible. Jesus wanted us to know that we are to live by every word that comes from Him and Abba. Jesus reemphasized this in Matthew 6:9-13 to pray to Abba to give us our daily bread. Let us feed on the Word daily and you will see your perspectives change. The Kingdom mindset is not like the worlds. Jesus said He is the vine and we are the branches. We cannot do anything without Him. He will make and mold us into His image through the power and help of the Holy Spirit.

It is important for us to remember that today is the day of salvation and now is the well accepted time. This is due to the kindness and mercy of Abba and Jesus. He is faithful and His mercies are new every morning in abundance. Let your heart be filled with the joy, love, and peace that only Jesus gives; not as the world gives. As you feed on the Word, in times of joy and even trouble you will be able to re-produce the Word and be comforted. You can use the Sword of the Spirit and cut down anything that does not align itself with His Word. Be encouraged and reminded today that He has called you by name and will fulfill His plan for your life. He did not bring you this far to leave you and He will never forsake you.

I pray that as you dive into the Word your heart is filled with love, peace, and joy. I pray that the Holy Spirit open the scriptures to you in new ways and reveal His Word. In Jesus Name. Amen!
