Hebrews‬ ‭13‬‬:‭8 (TPT)

The Changeless Christ

Jesus, the Anointed One, is always the same—yesterday, today, and forever.

Beloved,

There is nothing that our God can’t do. We have a God who is omnipotent. He lives outside of time. This is why we can say our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is always present and this is why He says I Am always with you (Jehovah-Shammah). I love in Exodus 3:14, our Abba told Moses to go to the Israelites and tell them “I Am” sent him. Our Abba and Jesus is the great I Am. If you need health and wholeness today, Jesus laid down His life and by His stripe you are healed. This is why He says I Am your healer (Jehovah-Rapha). If you need provision and finances believe today that He can and will make a way. In Genesis 14 Abram received word that his nephew was taken captive near Sodom and Gomorrah. Abram and 300 trained men from his household went out to save Lot. Abram was victorious due to the help of our Abba and Jesus. In verse 18-20, Melchizedek (our reincarnated Jesus) came to Abram to bless and remind him who and whose he is. Melchizedek brought the bread and wine and said, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth. And praise be to God Most High, who delivered your enemies into your hand.” This same blessing is for us today. We as children of God Most High, creator of Heaven and Earth lack no good thing. Keep your eyes on the source and creator of all things for His goodness and mercy shall follow. This is why He says I Am your provider (Jehovah Jireh). It is easy to fall into the trap of trying to do everything in our own strength and timing. Our flesh can be unsatisfied with waiting. In our day and age, we have this high achiever and go getter mentality. There is nothing wrong with achieving success and going after you dreams as long as your motive and compass is directed toward the Lord and His path for you. This mentality can allow you to covet and not be satisfied with where you are. We all have a plan and destiny written out by our Abba Father. As we focus on Him we will be able to run our own race. Everything that Abba and Jesus have destined to belong to us (blessings, house, job, promotion, education, business, vehicle, husband, wife, and you can fill in the rest) no one on earth can take away from us. Only our lack of faith can stall or even prevent all of Abba and Jesus goodness and mercy from coming to pass in our lives.

In 2 Chronicles 20, King Jehoshaphat was informed a vast army was coming against him from Edom. He immediately inquired from the Lord and proclaimed a fast in all of Judah. As King Jehoshaphat was in the assembly of his people the Spirit of the Lord fell upon Jahaziel son. He announced to the king,“Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” This truth remains for us today. We do not have to fight to defend ourselves, to prove ourselves to others, or even to get approval from others. Our Abba and Jesus love you and accept you. He will fight for you and make ways where you do not see any. This is why He says I Am your protector and will fight your battles (Jehovah Nissi). In John 18, Jesus demonstrates the power of I Am. On the night Jesus was arrested and brought before the high priest of the pharisees the armed guards came for Jesus. In verse 4-9 Jesus stepped toward the guards and asked them, “Who is it you want?” “Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “I am he,” Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.) When Jesus said, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground. Again he asked them, “Who is it you want?” “Jesus of Nazareth,” they said. Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If you are looking for me, then let these men go.” This happened so that the words he had spoken would be fulfilled: “I have not lost one of those you gave me.” When Jesus spoke the name “I Am” the guards could not stand in His presence. He also protected His disciples from any persecution. Allow Abba and Jesus to continue to direct your steps and trust He will protect you. If you need peace rest assured to day that peace is not a thing you can obtain but is a person, our Lord Jesus. Jesus peace is a peace that passes all understanding. Before Jesus laid down his life He promised us in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” This is why He says I Am the giver of peace (Jehovah Shalom). Whatever you need today come to our Abba and Jesus the great I Am. Let us take the limits off of Abba and Jesus. For He can do exceedingly, abundantly, above, and beyond all that you ask think or imagine. Trust and believe that our Abba and Jesus is all that you need.

I pray that your eyes are opened to see our God who loves you and will never leave you or forsake you. I pray that you fill in his name “I Am” with everything and anything you need. As you trust in Him I pray that you will see Him work and provide on your behalf. In Jesus name. Amen!
