‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:15‬ ‭(TPT‬‬)

Sacrifices Pleasing to God

“So we no longer offer up a steady stream of blood sacrifices, but through Jesus, we will offer up to God a steady stream of praise sacrifices—these are “the lambs” we offer from our lips that celebrate his name!”

Beloved,

We have a wonderful savior! Jesus has made a way. Through his precious and final sacrifice, we no longer have to offer blood sacrifices to be in right standing with God, our Abba Father. Abba commanded in Leviticus 17:11 regarding righteousness, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” Through Jesus we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Jesus took upon himself our sins, infirmities, condemnation, and judgment so that we can be free, redeemed, healthy, and whole. We who believe are now in right standing with Abba. We can offer up and lift up our prayers and praises which are sweet smelling aroma to our Abba Father. We can come boldly to the throne of grace and worship.

We no longer have a veil between us and Him. It is written in Ephesians 2:13, “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” We may enter into our Heavenly Fathers presence. Jesus is worthy of all our honor, worship, and praise. Just as the psalmist in Psalm 101:1 let us sing and declare about His faithful love toward us. Jesus came down from Heaven to give us life and a life more abundant here on earth. Are you feeling weary today? Are you carrying a heavy burden? Do you feel alone? Come to Jesus today. Lift up your eyes to see your savior waiting for you with open arms. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30, “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” Jesus wants to bless you and sustain you. Trust and have faith in Him!

I pray that you are reminded today of how much Abba and Jesus love you. As you praise and worship Jesus in your words, deeds, relationships, and demonstrate His love I pray you will see the sweet fragrance of incense arise to Abba who is pleased with you who abide in and with His beloved son. In Jesus Name. Amen!
